Radnor Park - Methodist Church On Second Avenue – Boquhanran St – Singer St – Duntocher Rd - Second Avenue – Return

Clydebank's history is dominated by two employers, Singers and John Brown engineering. As you stand beside the church and look south, Singers would have been immediately below you and John Brown’s would have been where the Titan Crane is.

As you walk down Singer St, try to imagine that street full of hundreds of workers going to start their shift at Singer when the factory was in its heyday. At their heights, Singers employed over 16,000 people and John Brown’s over 10,000.

Clydebank's current population is 26,000 which would mean the whole of Clydebank would have worked in one of these establishments!

As you follow the path down Boquhanran, various bird species can be found in the woodland area beside the football park - sparrows, thrush, blackbirds, pigeons, crows, magpies, blue tits, and finches. Rabbits and squirrels also populate the wood.
