Important wildlife 7Ha. corridor linking Murroch Glen and the wider moorlands with the Vale of Leven.

Established in 2000, this young wood has 2+ miles of walking & cycling routes (and an option to continue onto the longer Pappert Hill walk).

The mixed wood provides food and shelter for wildlife including goldfinches and orchids

It is an important resource to the east of New Bonhill on the fringes of the Kilpatrick Hills

Start and Finish Points

By foot Pappert Woodland and Bonhill Quarry can be accessed from Hillbank Street where you can see the footpath to the Quarry. By vehicle from Stirling Road (A813) turn into Burn Street, take the first right into Hillbank Street then right again and follow to the end of the road where you can park and see the footpath to the Quarry.
