Start and Finish Points

By foot to Overtoun House and Estate from Dumbarton East train station turn left onto Glasgow Road and then turn left into Greenhead Road and follow till Stirling Road (A82) and near The Abbotsford Hotel, cross the A82 into Barnhill Road and follow up until you see Milton Brae footpath on the left before Hunter's Avenue. Follow the path behind the houses till the path forks and take the right fork then turn left into Overtoun Estate and follow this road until you see Overtoun House and the signboard with the path details. By vehicle park at Overtoun House which can be found from Stirling Road (A82) take the turn into Milton Brae at Logspan in Milton. Follow this road until it forks and take the right fork into Overtoun Estate and park in the area provided and follow the by foot directions.
