Start and Finish Points

By foot this burn can be found from Overtoun House. To walk to Overtoun House from Dumbarton East train station turn left onto Glasgow Road and then turn left into Greenhead Road and follow till Stirling Road (A82) and near The Abbotsford Hotel, cross the A82 into Barnhill Road and follow up until you see Milton Brae footpath on the left before Hunter's Avenue. Follow the path behind the houses till the path forks and take the right fork then turn left into Overtoun Estate and follow this road until you see the Woodlands Trust Car Park on the left, on the right hand side of the road you will see the mail path to Lang Craigs. Follow this path until you reach a large gate where you will see a clearing and pyramid style monument. Take the left path and follow until the path reaches a four way crossing, go straight ahead and follow the path till you reach a dry stane dyke. At the dyke turn left and follow the dyke to the bottom where you will find the burn to your right. By vehicle from Stirling Road (A82) take the turn into Milton Brae at Logspan in Milton. Follow this road until it forks and take the right fork into Overtoun Estate and park in the Woodland Trust Car Park follow the by foot directions
