Parkhall – Manor Road

Various birdlife can be seen from sparrows, finches, tits, starlings, blackbirds. As you follow the path down in the green areas, more bird species can be found in the woodland area that surrounds the golf course sparrows, thrush, blackbirds, pigeons, crows, magpies, blue tits, and finches.

In the evenings you can clearly hear owls hooting, rabbits and squirrels also populate the wood.

Start and Finish Points

By foot this loop walk starts from the corner of Duntocher Road and Milton Mains Road head up the hill on Milton Mains Road. Continue into Glenhead Road, near the turn at Parkhall Road take the footpath on the right adjacent to the golf course and continue on the footpath to Great Western Road. Turn right along Great Western Road to the footbridge at Arnold Clark’s Garage and turn right back onto Milton Mains Road.
