A 3Ha area of mostly broadleaved woodland/plantation and scrub.

Mature broadleaved woodland/plantation, along a small burn supported by West Dunbartonshire Council

Tree canopy includes many oak trees, beech and sycamore.

Some examples of old oak trees but wood is much altered and surrounded by housing and the busy A898 Erskine Bridge road, and divided by railway line.

Start and Finish Points

On foot this Glen can be accessed from Glen Road, Old Kilpatrick, Clydebank, G60 5DQ or the Forth & Clyde/ Union Canal long distance footpath passes here. By vehicle from Dumbarton Road (A814) turn into Barclay Street, then turn left into Glen Road where a small parking area can be used . This small area is easily reached by public transport (Kilpatrick Railway Station is only a few steps away)
