By foot this loop walk starts from the West College Scotland Clydebank Campus, go along Aurora Avenue continuing on to Cart Street and turn right down Atlas Road. At the end of Atlas Road you will see the building on the RHS is the former booking office for Riverside Station, closed in 1964. Come back along Atlas Road and turn left down Cart Street past the college until you reach the river Clyde.

The river on the opposite side is the White Cart. In 1829 at this spot where the Cart Joins the Clyde, the Thompson Brothers decided to start their first shipyard, later to become John Browns. Turn right and walk along past the sports centre. This is the site of the working area of the large basin where ships were built. Opposite is the massive Titan Crane you can then return to West College Scotland Clydebank Campus.
