Located between the Isle of Brute and main Lain West Dumbartonshire, large open water offing a wide range of wildlife.
This site is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) bringing wild fowl and waders to the area throughout the winter leading into spring.
Brings redshank, curlew and oystercatchers tot eh area throughout the year, offering food when at low tide.
A mix of aquatic wildlife and plant life as fresh water rest on top of the salted water mix creating interesting mix of ecosystems

Accessing the area can be done anywhere West of the A78 and west of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park as there are no public buildings for the site.
