A 5Ha area of mature woodland with great examples of old oak trees .

Mature Tree canopy includes many large oak trees and more recent birch woodland

Open sections of Duntocher Burn of some interest for invertebrates, poor ground flora.

Duntocher Burn rises among the Kilpatrick Hills from the Cochno burn and other headwaters, and collects in Duntocher before running 2¼ miles south-westward to the River Clyde.

Start and Finish Points

By foot from Dalmuir Park via the Dalmuir Golf Club then onto the burn and woodlands which you will be able to see. By vehicle you can park at Dalmuir Golf Club on Overtoun Road.
