An area of rising moorland located to the west of Alexandria lies between Tullichewan Muir.

Large grasslands with long walking paths with a range of wildlife in the area.

A very small woodland offering some walking paths and a few species of wildlife and flora

Grassland with occasional bogs and varied flora across with mix insect species

Spectacular views over Campsie Hill, River Clyde, Dumbarton, Cowal, Renfrewshire, Lang Crags, Loch Lomond and Islands and Ben Lomond

Start and Finish Points

By foot this muir is accessible from Overton Road under the A82 flyover. Take the right fork in the road, (the left will take you to the Vale of Leven Cemetery) take the fourth driveway through the farm and follow the road till you reach a woodland. Walk through the woodland where you will come out at the muir. By vehicle from the A82 take the Upper Stoneymollan Road exit from the roundabout, take the first left, then take the next left, follow the road until you see a clearing on the left where you can park the car. Once the car is parked you will need to walk towards Sheildaig Farm B&B, pass this farm and walk towards Loch Lomond Pony Trekking where you will see a path on your right hand side, take this path and follow until you see a woodland and beyond this you will find the muir.
